Terms and community guidelines

A caring place to pray
By sharing content in Prayer Circle, you agree to these terms and community guidelines. Use the app for respectful prayer and encouragement. You remain responsible for what you share and permit us to store, display and deliver it to your selected circles to operate the app.
Respect people
Do not post harassment, bullying, threats, hateful attacks, exploitation, sexually explicit material, encouragement of violence or self-harm, illegal content, scams or spam. Do not use prayer requests to shame people, target their identity or promote discrimination. Respectful discussion of difficult experiences, illness, addiction, grief and requests for help is welcome.
Protect privacy
Get permission before sharing another person's name, health details or private circumstances. Share only content you have the right to share. Do not post addresses, credentials or other information that could put someone at risk. Keep other members' prayers within the circle unless they give permission to share them.
Reporting and moderation
A narrow automatic filter checks new and edited prayers, answered notes, display names and circle names for explicit slurs and abusive phrases. It can miss abuse or reject a quotation; rephrase or contact support if it gets something wrong. Use the ⋯ menu on a prayer or member to report a concern or block a member. Circle owners can remove reported prayers from their circle or remove members; reports about owners go to the app operator. Contact support if an issue is unresolved or involves the owner. Content that violates these rules may be removed and access restricted. Blocking hides your prayers from each other and stops prayer assignments and prayer notifications between you. Unblocking restores access unless the other member has also blocked you. Circle membership stays the same. You can manage blocks in Settings. Our target for an initial response to support and moderation concerns is one week; resolving an issue may take longer. Universal reports go directly to Prayer Circle support, which can remove Universal prayers or membership.
Urgent needs
Prayer Circle is not an emergency service, medical service or continuously monitored crisis line. The emergency prayer option sends notifications to circle members; it does not contact emergency responders. For immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. Prayer does not replace professional care.
Your account and these terms
Keep sign-in links private and do not impersonate others or misuse access to circles. You can stop using the service and delete your account in Settings. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. Contact support to ask about moderation decisions or these terms. We will ask you to accept updated community guidelines before posting when a new agreement version is required.
